Schreiber Event Planning worked a Hollywood theme into a produce company’s corporate party in Orlando, Florida. We booked a nightclub near Disney World and displayed the company’s name in lights on the marquee. As guests arrived on the coaches we arranged, they walked down a red carpet to the venue. On either side of barricades, 50 “fans” screamed for autographs. Some held up posters of the executives’ names while the “paparazzi” snapped photos.
Inside, the decor featured props that one would find on a movie set—such as clapper boards and director chairs, and back-lit silhouettes of scenes from classic movies ringed the perimeter of the club. Gobo lights flashed the company’s logo around the walls. Guests enjoyed an open bar and a reception-style menu. A 14-piece swing band kicked into high gear, and actors dressed up as well-known movie stars mingled with the guests throughout the evening.
